The Executive Director/Founder Mrs. Julette Wade
House of Love is a
Christian-based organization that operates group homes for out-of-home care for
young women ages 12-17 and those needing transitional housing aging 18-25. The
organization works to develop and rehabilitate youth by providing them with a
safe, stable, nurturing, loving, caring and supportive family atmosphere. Our approach is to provide everything
that a loving and stable family would provide: love, praise, spiritual
encouragement, clear expectations, education, daily living and life skills, enrichment experiences and 24-hour supervision in a safe
and structured setting. Our program offers challenged youth a positive
choice in their lifestyle in order to lead a productive life and contribute
to our community. We provide programs that strengthen families and promote
self-sufficiency. Our Homes
Since 2004, House of Love has provided group homes and
on-going transitional living support services for females between the ages of
12-21. We have been successful in addressing the needs of older and special
needs females by providing a safe, loving and nurturing structured
environment. We effectively serve females from diverse ethnic and cultural
backgrounds. The young people we serve receive educational services, anger
management groups, recreational services, employment training, life skills
training, counseling services, mentoring and other services. The young women
who enter our homes are taught how to succeed in life by a caring and professional
staff. We attribute the success of our program to the spiritual principles on
which we are founded. Without House of Love, our young women would not have
any other options other than the streets, prostitution, drugs, etc... As the ministry grows, House of Love continues to make
progress in serving youth through its group home programs. Our approach is to
provide everything that a loving and stable family would provide: love,
praise, spiritual encouragement, clear expectations, education, daily living
and life skills, enrichment experiences and 24-hour supervision in a safe and
structured setting. The ministry has been very successful in providing care
to young women. The major accomplishments of our ministry are measured
through the success of the young ladies we serve. The young women served
through our ministry have improved their behavior, increased their academic
performance, remained in school, and avoided criminal activities. Our
effectiveness is demonstrated through the success
stories of our youth. Back to Top
